ROSEDALE PARK BAPTIST CHURCH

Gregory Alexander is the current senior pastor of Rosedale Park Baptist Church in Detroit Michigan after serving as the Executive Pastor for over twenty-five years. He also served as the lead teaching pastor of The Lakes Community Church in Commerce Township, Michigan for six years. With over four decades of ministry, he excels in cross-cultural work across urban, suburban, and global contexts. Pastor Alexander focuses on teaching practical applications of God's Word. He holds a degree from William Tyndale College and pursued a graduate level degree in Religious Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. He's contributed to various community and Christian service organizations like the YMCA and International Christian Education Association and is the chairman emeritus of the mission organization Pan African Christian Exchange (PACE) where he held that position since 1997. Gregory's international missions service has taken him to Mexico, Bahamas, Jamaica, Brazil, Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, and Rwanda. Following the 2010 Haiti earthquake, he led mission teams there assisting in home construction for displaced families.  

Gregory and his wife Sandra, married since 1970, have two daughters, Courtney Lynn and Carey Lynette, and five beloved grandchildren: Cydnie, Cassidy, twins Shyla and Shilo, and grandson Caleb.
