In the “D”, Haman
Cross, Jr. is known as Pastor C. Because
of his Urban shepherd's heart & shepherding skills in
Kenya they call him Mordei…the
Lion, because of his boldness; in Congo they call
him Nssi...Laughter; because
they say he never stops smiling, in Rwanda, they call him
NdahKoonDah...Love; because
he loves us & wants us, his grandchildren call him G-Diddy.
Pastor C is a 2nd generation preacher, pastor and missionary.
His parents are in glory waiting, watching & enjoying
their rest after serving faithfully on the east side of
Detroit, at Detroit’s African American Mission Inc.
for over 30+ years.
Pastor C is a down to earth, keep it real, urbanized pastor
who has answered the call to have a global and local impact
for Christ. He has been faithful to the call for over four
decades and has ministered to hundreds of thousands from
every walk of life. His transparency about personal failures
and recovery has been a source of hope to thousands. Haman's
sometimes hard hitting and unique style, coupled with a
skillful use of humorous anecdotes, allows him to present
the word of God in a way that leads people of all ages,
races and cultures to a deeper spirituality. Whether to
pastors, prisoners, athletes, entrepreneurs, paupers or
aristocrats, Haman's message is consistent: "Grow!
Glow! Go!"
Pastor C is not your average preacher. Yes, as a matter
of fact, he is a wide eyed sanctified. blood bought, spirit
taught, bible totin', scripture quotin', demon blastin',
sin trashin', Christ followin'. pride swallowin'. hard prayin',
truth conveyin', faith walkin', gospel talkin', bonafide
and glorified child of God.
Haman planted a unique ministry located in the Brightmoor
community of Detroit. He has served as senior pastor to
this local congregation since 1982. Rosedale Park Baptist
Church is "the perfect church for imperfect people”.
“The Dale “has a family life center that has
allowed for them to become "a full service church".
Every member, every continent, every quarter is the perspective
that drives “The Dale” to reach out locally,
and globally & enables it to soar as a two winged ministry.
“The Dale” is committed to doing good in the
hood, but is also committed to cross –cultural partnerships
with sister church’s in advancing the Kingdom.
His soul mate and wife Roberta enhances Haman’s vision
for his church, community and the continents. God has given
them opportunity and grace to serve as a very unique speaking
team all over the world. Roberta has been gifted to speak
and teach in conferences, churches, retreats & various
venues internationally. She has super expertise as a social
worker to hurting families in Detroit in need of healing,
hope & help.
Haman and Roberta have been married almost 40 years and
have three adult children, five grandsons and 2 granddaughters.
